Overview

Each year, Coe College offers one full-tuition Global Leadership Scholarship to an international student (non-U.S. citizen, non-permanent resident) who is completing high school outside the United States.

The award is designed for academically strong, first-time college students who plan to live on campus and fully take part in Coe’s international community.

Details

  • Number of awards: one full-tuition scholarship per year.
  • The scholarship covers the full tuition amount in the year you first enroll at Coe.
  • It is renewable for up to three additional years (for a total of four years of study), as long as you continue to meet renewal requirements such as full-time enrolment and on-campus residence.
  • The award does not cover housing, meals, insurance, travel, or personal expenses. Coe expects recipients to be able to fund at least USD 25,000 per year toward these and other costs.

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Apply as first-time, first-year undergraduate degree-seeking students;
  • Live in on-campus residential housing;
  • Complete both:
    • the International Application for Admission, and
    • the separate Global Leadership Full-Tuition Scholarship application.

Important Notes

  • Only one full-tuition award per year
    • This scholarship is extremely competitive because only one international student receives the full-tuition award each year. You should still plan for other funding options (merit scholarships, family funds, etc.).
  • You must still show at least USD 25,000 per year
    • Even if you win, Coe will only issue your I-20 if you prove you can cover USD 25,000+ per year for living and other costs. Without strong financial documentation, your admission and scholarship cannot move forward.
  • Admission and scholarship deadlines are the same
    • The admission application, all supporting documents, financial statement, and the Global Leadership Scholarship form must all be complete by February 1, 2026. Late or incomplete files will not be considered for the full-tuition award.
  • You must live on campus and stay full-time to keep the award
    • If you drop below full-time status or move off campus, you risk losing scholarship eligibility or renewal.
