Overview

Recipients of Milepost One receive the college’s work grant, which is applied to tuition in line with federal rules. If a student also qualifies for federal or state need-based aid, Milepost One fills the rest of tuition so that tuition is fully covered. If a student does not qualify for federal/state need-based aid, Milepost One itself covers the remaining tuition. Student loans are not used for tuition, but may be used toward housing and meals.

Details

  • The college will award up to 20 full-tuition Milepost One scholarships to students whose total family income is $150,000 USD or less. This pathway can fund full tuition even for families who may not receive federal/state need-based grants; international and DACA students are eligible.
  • The scholarship is guaranteed for up to four years. If a degree takes longer than four years, students may appeal for an extension.
  • Students must be residential (on-campus); online-only or commuter status is not eligible.
